Young man dies electrocuted after touching bare wire in Corumba lake

The Civil Police of the State of Goiás (PCGO) investigates the death of a 27-year-old young man in Lake Corumbá IV, in the rural area of ​​Abadiânia (GO), some 437 km from Brasilia. The Anápolis resident, João Paulo Vieira Azevedo Sandré, died after touching an electrical cable, according to a relative of the victim, in testimony at the Goiás city police station.

The young man was riding a jet ski on the lake, at the time he touched a bare electrical wire, received an electric shock and died instantly. In testimony, the boy’s uncle reported that he was not present at the scene of the accident and, therefore, did not give more details about what happened.

PCGO provided the cadaveric examination of the victim. João Paulo leaves his wife and two daughters. In social networks, friends and acquaintances lamented the death of the child: “Go in peace, João Paulo.
