A woman reacted to a robbery, managed to knock the thief down with her umbrella, and recovered her cell phone in São Vicente, on the São Paulo coast. OR G1 this Saturday (4), access to images from monitoring cameras (see pictures above) obtained by companies in the region. The video rumbled on social networks after being shared by the owners of the establishments.
TO G1, an employee, who witnessed all the action and chose not to be identified, says that the attempted robbery took place on Rua Ipiranga, located in the center of the city. The two women were reportedly walking on the sidewalk when the man on a bicycle stole her cell phone. One of the victims decided to hit the suspect with an umbrella to try to retrieve the device.
According to the official, the woman threw the umbrella, hitting the aggressor’s bicycle, when he fell in the middle of the street and dropped the victim’s cell phone. “He took the bike and knocked it down on the spot. [A mulher] it gave him so much that he even broke the umbrella ”, he recalls.

After falling, the victims quickly recovered their cell phone and continued to beat the assailant who was trying to escape from the scene. Within minutes, other witnesses mobilized to try to help the two women. At one point, one of the women stopped the passing car to pick up her cell phone and struck the assailant again.
“It was in front of the store, everything was fast. We got the video and sent it to some people only by WhatsApp, but then it took a lot of proportion, ”says the employee, who reiterates that she did not imagine the scope of the recordings. Despite having followed all the actions, he reports that he does not know if the case was registered at the police station, since the two managed to recover the device.
The report questioned the Military Police and the Ministry of Public Security, if there was any record of the fact, but until the last update of this report, there was no return.
