Forward William Pottker used social media to speak for the first time as a Cruzeiro player. The athlete published a message in which he says he wants to help the celestial team to return to “where it should never have left”, in reference to Serie A of the Brazilian Championship. The message was published after the official announcement of Cruzeiro and Internacional on the exchange between Pottker and midfielder Mauricio.

Pottker’s arrival at Cruzeiro was requested by coach Felipão, who recorded a video (look up) welcome the player. The coach highlighted the qualities of the forward and said that he has the help of the athlete in the Brazilian Serie B.
– He is a player in whom I trust a lot, in whom I have full confidence that he will help us, especially in this second phase that we begin this week. He has potential, he is a player with a very big explosion, who has already experienced Serie B and that will help us a lot – said Felipão.
The forward signed for four years and is scheduled to be in Belo Horizonte on Monday. According to the club, the negotiation has confidentiality clauses and does not imply financial expenses on the part of Cruzeiro, which will keep 50% of the athlete’s rights.
