In practice, the following happens: the beneficiary accepts the terms of the affiliation and selects the option “I want to be a Top Customer”. The option opens up a wider range of services, such as microcredit from R $ 100 and life insurance from R $ 20.
Caixa Econômica Federal is the official payment bank for emergency aid 2021. Therefore, it does not have the power to exclude or include any beneficiary, or to select which citizens meet the criteria of the new program. Therefore, those who do not update their registration will not be harmed and will be able to receive emergency assistance as normal.

In addition to being used for emergency assistance, the Caixa Tem application has been released for other payments since its launch: BEm (Emergency Benefit, paid to those with reduced salary), the PIS salary bonus and the emergency withdrawal FGTS (Guarantee of Duration of the Fund Service).
The payment platform can also be used for customers to move their free digital savings created by law for the payment of social benefits.
In addition, since November, Bolsa Família beneficiaries can also receive the deposit in digital savings.
It is important to make it clear that it will not be necessary to go to an agency to update the registry. According to the bank, the entire process can be done by the beneficiary’s cell phone, in a very practical way.

It is confirmed that the 2021 emergency aid will be paid to informal workers and beneficiaries of Bolsa Família. In addition, the benefit will also be available to those who have a family income of up to three minimum wages, that is, R $ 3,300, who have a family income per person of up to half the minimum wage (R $ 550) and who received the aid in 2020 .
Therefore, the Government will not reopen the registration period. The Ministry of Citizenship will analyze the 2020 database and see who still meets the new requirements. Those who meet the new criteria will receive payment automatically, in a digital social savings account of Caixa Econômica Federal, as happened in 2020.
Will be left out of emergency aid 2021, Brazilians under 18 years of age, with the exception of adolescent mothers, inmates, medical residents, scholarship recipients, interns, who had taxable income of more than R $ 28,559.70 in 2019 and who had the program canceled in 2020.
Nor will the payment be made for formal workers, with a formal contract, those who receive benefits from the INSS or the government transfer program and who received the aid last year but did not withdraw or use the payment.
