The lawyer Frederick Wassef, who defended Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (Republicans-RJ) in the case of the ‘rachadinhas’, was the target of a complaint for racial injuries. According to the police report, Wassef called an employee of the Pizza Hut franchise in Brasilia a “macaca”. The episode would have occurred last Sunday the 8th.

On the night of that Thursday 12, Wassef said he was the victim of a “defamatory complaint” and filed a complaint in the V Police District of the Federal District. “They are lies, this is a crime of libelous denunciation and Brazil was deceived by those lies,” he said in a video.

To police, the Pizza Hut employee reported that she was called ‘cute’ after Wassef complained that the pizza was ‘not good’. He even questioned whether the employee had eaten the pizza and the employee replied that she had not. Wassef would then have said aloud: “You are a monkey! You eat what you get! ”.

The clerk then tells Wassef that he is ‘no better than anyone’ and that he was the only customer to complain about the pizza. The lawyer responded by saying, “Where I come from, the servants do not talk to the client.” The property manager reportedly followed the episode and was listed as a witness.

Wassef was responsible for the defense of Flávio Bolsonaro in the investigations that point to embezzlement, money laundering and criminal organization in the senator’s office when he was a state deputy in Rio. He dropped the case after the arrest of former parliamentary assistant Fabrício Queiroz, located by the Police. From São Paulo on a site owned by his office, in Atibaia (SP).

Earlier in the evening, Wassef released a video in which he claims to have filed a police report against the Pizza Hut employee, whom he told ‘not to be black’ and to be ‘guided and trained by third parties’ to defame him.

“I am a victim of the crime of libelous denunciations,” he said. “This is a fraud designed to destroy my image and reputation.”
