The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) reported that voters who want to use the e-Title in the second round have until 23:59 next Saturday (28) to download the application, developed by the Electoral Justice. The use of the electronic title is optional for the voter, who can also vote by presenting paper documents.
The second round of the municipal elections is scheduled for Sunday (29). In total, in 57 municipalities, voters will have to go to the polls again.

The electronic title can be used to identify the voter (if the citizen has made the biometric data) and provides information such as polling place.
Through the tool, the voter who is outside the electoral domicile can also justify the absence.
According to the TSE, only those already downloaded the application until Saturday can use the functions on Sunday. On Monday, the use of the e-Title will return to normal.
In the first round, on the 15th, voters across the country reported difficulties in making the justification through the application.
At the time, the president of the TSE, Luís Roberto Barroso, said that the problem was caused by “last minute” downloads. According to the TSE, about 16 million voters are registered in the e-Title.
2020 elections: 57 cities will have second round
According to the TSE, it is possible free download of the application through the virtual stores Google Play and App Store. The application is available for smartphones and tablets.
Also according to the TSE, to validate the application, voters must fill in the data correctly. This is because, if there is any information other than that reported in the electoral roll, the system will not approve the request. Therefore, the court explained, the voter will not be able to use the electronic title.
According to the Superior Electoral Court, no service provided by e-Title is exclusive to the application.
According to the TSE, inquiries can also be made by computer; in an electoral register; and by phone (61) 9637-1078, through the WhatsApp messaging application.
