The security of the São Paulo Metro is not just about guaranteeing the safety of users. On Friday (25), security agents working at the Oratorio station on Line 15-Plata managed to resuscitate a parrot.

Some parrots were on a wire outside the station and received an electric shock. One of the affected animals could not get up.

Upon seeing the animal on the ground, Agent Everton acted quickly and began a heart massage to revive the animal.

The Maracana bird moved again after almost a minute. After some attempts, the action went well and Metrô released the video on its social networks.

According to Metrô, the bird is recovering in the Center for the Management and Conservation of Wild Animals (CeMaCAs), which is in charge of reintegrating wild birds into nature.
