A party at sea gathered almost 350 in dozens of luxury boats in Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo. One of the participants in the event was caught throwing 50-real bills into the water. The images, shared on social media, show the man handing a wad of money to another person shortly after. The information is from the local newspaper Santaportal.
The party called “Summer Beach” took place this Thursday afternoon (17). Other images show that the participants did not respect the measures of social distance and did not wear a protective mask.
Through a note to Santaportal, the Guarujá City Council reported that after receiving complaints it sent teams from the Task Force, Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), posture and trade inspectors to avoid a rave party at the end of Praia da Enseada, in Canto do Tortuga. The operation also had the support of the Military Police.
Also according to Santaportal, the Captaincy of the Ports was also called to withdraw and value the people who were at sea. On the mainland, the teams dispersed people, confiscated bicycles and identified a marina that rented boats and will be held accountable according to municipal decrees. The fine ranges between R $ 300 and R $ 9 thousand.
