An explosion in a beer tank at the Ambev factory in Juatuba, Greater Belo Horizonte, scared the unit’s employees, according to G1’s findings.
The episode that occurred last Friday (25) came to paralyze the production of beer in the place for a certain period.
According to the employee report, the noise of the explosion was very loud and followed by the activation of the fire alarm, which generated intense movement in the unit. Scared, some employees went to the entrance of the factory.
One of the workers recounted by audio how he felt at the time of the explosion.
“I thought it was all going to fall on us, God forbid. I’ve never been so scared. So far my legs are shaking, ”he said.

Firefighters reported that the incident was solved by Ambev and that no one was injured. After isolating the explosion site and making the necessary repairs, the unit was back in operation.
By note, the Ambev Minas Gerais press office explained that the problem occurred in a valve in one of the beer tanks, without damage to the structure and that production was not affected. In addition, the company said that the incident will be investigated.
“Last night (25) we had an incident in a tank in the Cervejaria de Juatuba-MG, which was immediately controlled. There are no injuries and the unit’s production continues normally ”, he informed G1.
