Vasco still hasn’t won in Carioca. This Sunday, the team tied with Botafogo 1 to 1. It was just the team’s second point in the table. – We started working recently, but always working hard, wanting to go after the result. Always wanting to win. That taste of victory had to have made it 2 to 1 to be a true victory. But the tie was everyone’s dedication. I think going out made it very difficult. So we had to change the strategy in the second half to go after the guys. But we fought a lot in the second half.
“The second goal did not come, but the draw was not good, but it was also good,” said Lucão.
The goalkeeper had a good performance this Sunday. He had nothing to do with Botafogo’s goal, against the one marked by Zeca, in the first half. The tie came at the end, at 41, with Carlinhos, head. For Lucão, Vasco needs to improve in attack.
