Although the decision of the president of the Superior Court of Justice suspended Vasco’s elections at 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, when the elections were held in São Januário, the voting continued and the candidate Luiz Roberto Leven Siano ended the day as the most voted. It is worth noting, however, that at the moment this Saturday’s votes have no value due to the STJ’s decision.
This Sunday, to defend the result obtained at the polls (1,155 votes), Leven Siano shouted, via Instagram, that “there will be no coup.” Stating that he will be the “president of all,” he called on associates to boycott a possible new election.
