The group that invaded the Capitol on Wednesday (6) consisted of supporters of President Donald Trump. The extremists entered the scene during the official counting of the electoral college votes scheduled for the November presidential elections. They wanted to avoid confirmation of Joe Biden’s victory.

Moments before the congressional session, Trump told a crowd of supporters in Washington that he would not accept Biden’s defeat. He urged people to walk to the Capitol, saying that he would accompany them; however, he was not seen on the march.
Five people died during the violence on Wednesday. The latest confirmed victim was a police officer injured in clashes with Trump allies.
Who is the extremist arrested?
Jake angeli is a well-known far-right activist who supports the Qanon movement, a completely unfounded conspiracy theory. In essence, QAnon is a broad theory that says President Trump is waging a secret war against high-ranking Satanist pedophiles from the government, business world, and the press.
According to 12 News, the attacker launched a virtual fundraising campaign last year to help him travel to Washington in December to one of several marches of Trump supporters who refuse to admit electoral defeat. He only made $ 10 and the GoFundMe website removed the campaign.
