Two suspects die in Viracopos during the PF action – News

Two suspects of participating in an international drug trafficking scheme at the Viracopos airport, in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo, were murdered in Operation PF (Federal Police) carried out this Tuesday (6). The PF did not say where the deaths occurred.

The operation, which was called Overload, has the support of the Civil, Military, Road, and Federal Prosecutor’s Office, as well as the PM’s internal affairs. According to investigations, the criminal organization is made up of Brazilians, who were responsible for the supply of cocaine that would be exported to Europe.

The group also recruited airport officials to interfere on behalf of the gang in the logistics activities of the terminal, in addition to involving a civilian policeman and a military policeman in the scheme.

In total, more than 200 federal police officers, 80 military police officers, and 6 civilian police officers participate in the execution of 44 search and seizure orders and 35 temporary arrest warrants in 4 states of the country. Among the investigated prisoners, 33 are men and 2 are women.
