Q2 – 15 minutes and five eliminated
The second part of the training began with Hamilton setting the best time of the weekend so far, with 1’15’309. Bottas was only 0s013 slower, co, 1m15s322, and Verstappen did 1m15s471 to take third place. The superiority of the three was so great that Albon, fourth classified, was 0605 behind.
