This Wednesday the 28th, a truck loaded with beer cans fell after a brake failure on the SC-412, a road that gives access to Bombinhas, on the North Coast of Santa Catarina. The vehicle was on the road when the accident occurred. The driver and two other passengers were injured Wednesday morning.
According to the Military Police, the driver noticed the failure of the brakes while driving on the road. You veered out of a house, but hit a parked car. With the crash, the truck fell onto Leopoldo Zarling Avenue.
Firefighters were called around 7:40 am. They found the 41-year-old motorist hooked up to the vehicle’s hardware, but conscious and oriented. It was suspected that he had a fracture in his left arm. The base of the seats had to be cut to remove.
The other two occupants, ages 36 and 31, were outside the truck. They were transferred to the Pump Emergency Unit (UPA). The 36-year-old man had a cut to his skull, abrasions and pain in his head. On the 31st he presented bruises and suspected clavicle fracture.
Also, before the PM arrived, some passers-by took away beverage cans that were scattered on the road. However, according to the prime minister, there was no record of a large cargo looting.
