OR driver of a car died and another was injured on Saturday night (12/12) after being involved in an accident on BR-381, near Rancho Glria, in Governor of Valadares, Region of Vale do Rio Doce.
The collision occurred between the two vehicles. The Fire Department was called in to rescue the victims. The driver of one of the vehicles, Joel Barbosa Oliveira (no age informed), was trapped inside the cabin with minor injuries, some cuts and abrasions on his body, without signs of fractures.
The staff of the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) took him out safely, stabilized him and took him to the hospital unit.
The driver of the other vehicle, Everaldo Antnio Resende, 45, was found dead and attached to the hardware. According to firefighters, it was pressed against the cockpit panel.

The military carried out the removal of the body, requiring a winch to separate the vehicles. The body was removed from the Medical-Legal Institute (IML). The Civil Police were at the scene and carried out the expert work. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) also appeared at the scene of the accident.
