The contest will be held by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), as announced by the RN Government at the end of October. The expectation about the publication of the public notice lasted from October 31. This is due to the fact that the Civil Police and the State Government signed a Conduct Adjustment Period (TAC) with the Public Ministry of RN so that the Civil Police itself could assume the competence of the contest, instead of the State Administration Secretariat (SEAD).

Historical

The contest for the Civil Police is expected by the category and applicants to the body’s staff since 2016, when the State Government, at that time, had already planned to hold the contest in parallel to the event for the Military Police and the Scientific Technical Institute . of RN Expertise (ITEP-RN). In 2017, the Civil Police contest with 142 vacancies was announced, but it was never launched. In 2018, the government suspended the tender again, citing a financial crisis.

The last act of the Civil Police took place in 2008 and ended in 2010.

The next competition will have 301 vacancies, 47 for delegates, 230 for agents and 24 for secretaries. Currently, the RN Civil Police has 1,324 officials, of which 152 are delegates, 181 secretaries and 991 agents. According to Complementary Law 417/2010, which establishes the Organic Law and the Statute of the Civil Police of Rio Grande do Norte, the organization must have 100 delegates, 468 secretaries and 2,765 agents.
