A body was found in a ditch on Monday night, next to the BR-470, in Ilhota. The victim was identified as Emerson dos Santos, 29. He was missing since November 13.
The man was a businessman from Balneario Camboriú and had gone out to negotiate the sale of a BMW. The young man was last seen near the Navegantes airport.
The body, found on Luiz Silvino da Cunha Street, in the Baú Baixo neighborhood, was in an advanced state of decomposition. It was referred to the Blumenau IGP. Forensics believe the victim died more than six days ago.
The businessman disappeared shortly after 11:30 am on the 13th. His partner called the Military Police the same day after he did not return to work. The black car was located at a car dealership the day after the victim’s disappearance.
The investigation is carried out by the Civil Police Station of Navigators and has the support of the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of Itajaí. The case is being investigated confidentially.
