The suspects in the murder of the driver of the application, Anderson da Silva Coelho, 26, in Grande BH, were arrested on Saturday and sent to the Vespasiano Police Station, in the Jardim da Glória neighborhood.
João Vitor de Souza Barbosa, 18, and Leandro Rodrigues, 19, confessed to the police. For the Itatiaia, said they participated in the robbery and that they wanted to resell the car, but they deny killing Anderson.
According to the police, the suspects tried to behead the victim and pierced the worker’s eyes. They also tied his hands with a charging cable and his feet with his own pants.
Members of Anderson’s family are shocked and disgusted by the crime. They claim that the boy was a worker, religious, did not drink and did not smoke. He was working and paying the car payments.
Anderson had been missing since December 31. He went to work as an app driver and even texted his girlfriend around 11pm, just before the change, saying the job was productive, and then he left.
The car of the driver of the application was found this Saturday morning in the Morro Alto neighborhood of Vespasiano, hours later Anderson’s body was found.
