There are three public holidays that fall on Tuesday: Independencia (September 7), Nossa Senhora Aparecida (October 12) and All Souls (November 2).

Corpus Christi, as always, falls on a farm, but the slack depends on the place, since it is not a national holiday.

On Friday, we will only have the Passion Friday at Easter, April 2, while the Proclamation of the Republic (November 15).

Right in the middle of the week, just Tiradentes, on April 21. Finally, two holidays fall on Saturday: Labor Day, May 1, and Christmas, December 25.

The carnival, which this year falls on February 16, is uncertain, since due to the pandemic some cities will postpone the celebrations.

Since Carnival is not a national holiday either, companies will have to decide how to work in February.

All this after a difficult 2020, in which the holidays were postponed or could not be used.

Yes, for some sectors, days unemployed are prejudicial, for others, such as tourism, vacations are profit. But all the activities coincide: 2021 will be a year of hard work with a focus on economic recovery.
