A sheep that was lost in the Tasmanian forest fires in 2013 surprised its breeders.
This is because Prickles, as reported by farmer Alice Gray on her social networks, reappeared on the same farm where she was born, seven years after her escape. Alone!
The animal was found giant and unshaven, with a body full of thorns, hence the name Prickles, translation of “thorns” in English, and accumulated soil.
Upon being informed of the episode, friends of Gray’s family joked that Prickles, a cub at the time of the fire, became an “expert” in social detachment in times of quarantine.
The prank inspired Gray to do a good deed related to the new coronavirus pandemic. He created a bag on the amount of wool, in kilos, to be removed from the animal in the shear, scheduled for May.
You can bet on anyone who makes a donation to an association that helps refugees suffering from the effects of the pandemic.
So far, according to the British press, more than R $ 30,000 has been raised. The prize for the winner is a certificate of excellence.
