The rain that hit São Paulo on Tuesday afternoon (08) put some parts of the city in a state of attention, according to the Center for Climate Emergency Management (CGE).
The CGE weather radar images show that there are heavy rains in the South Zone, in the Capela do Socorro and M Boi Mirim sub-prefectures and in the West Zone, in the Butantã and Pinheiros sub-prefectures, where residents report the formation of hail. (see video below). While in the Eastern Zone in the sub-prefectures of Penha, Ermelino Matarazzo, São Miguel paulista, Itaquera and Itaim paulista it is still mild and moderate.

Around 2:00 pm, the following points of the city were in a state of attention:
- East Side;
- Southeast area;
- West zone;
- Center;
- Sul area;
- Tietê marginal;
- Marginal pinheiros.
At 3:03 p.m. the region of the North Zone of the capital also entered a state of attention.
The Globo helicopter registered the fall of a tree under a wiring and a car on Coriolano street, at the height of Aurélia street. Enel went to the place. As of press time, there is no further information on the case.
According to the social networks of the firefighters, from 00:00 to 15:59 this Tuesday, 65 calls were answered for falling trees throughout the city of São Paulo. There was also a service for landslides in Vargem Grande Paulista and another for floods in Guarulhos.
Due to the rain, 18 flood points formed throughout the city, according to the CGE. The route was impassable in the following places:
- Avenida Antônio de Munhoz Bonilha, at the height of Avenida Nossa Senhora do Ó, in both directions;
- Local lane from Marginal Tietê, near Ponte das Bandeiras, towards Ayrton Senna;
- Pompéia Avenue, in Rua Palestra Itália, in both directions;
- Rua Jaroaquara, on Rua Faustolo, in both directions;
- Plaza Pascoal Martins, on Avenida. Marqués de São Vicente, towards Centro;
- Pompéia Viaduct, on Avenida Francisco Matarazzo, in both directions;
- In the Marrey Júnior square, towards the neighborhood;
- On Calle José de Alencar, on Av. Celso García, towards the neighborhood.
The following points are flooded, but the situation is passable:
- Avenida Ordem e Progresso, in Praça Delegado Amoroso Neto, in both directions;
- Central Lane of Marginal Tietê, at the Casa Verde bridge, towards Castello;
- Viaduto Presidente João Goulart, on Avenida Angélica, in both directions;
- Santos Dumont Avenue, in Rua Guaporé, towards Santana;
- Avenida do Estado, in Largo do Pari, towards Santana;
- Rio Branco Avenue, in Duque de Caxias Avenue, towards Centros;
- Praça da Bandeira, on 23 de Maio avenue, towards Centro;
- Praça Marrey Júnior, Sentido Centro;
- Marginal Pinheiros Local Lane, at the Engenheiro Roberto Rossi Zuccolo Bridge, towards Castello.

According to the CGE website, the next few hours will continue with unstable weather and rain “acting slowly and in isolation with potential for flooding.” The instability, which comes from the interior, continues with a middle shift from West to East.
The CGE reports that on Wednesday (9) the instabilities will recede and the sun will appear through the clouds. The expected minimum temperature is around 19 ° C and the maximum should not exceed 26 ° C, with no rain forecast.
On Thursday (10) there is no rain forecast either, but the minimum temperature will drop to 18 ° C, while the maximum will remain at 26 ° C.
