The city of São Paulo entered a state of attention due to flooding due to heavy rains at 2:54 p.m. on Friday (1st), according to the CGE (Center for Emergency Management). The alert began to be suspended from 5:00 p.m.
During the afternoon, there were 14 flood points in the city. There are still at least 4 flood points at this time, one impassable in the Cathedral, according to the monitoring of the CGE.
The most affected regions were the East, North and Central Zones of the capital. Strong strokes were recorded in other municipalities of Greater São Paulo: Cotia, Embu and Jandira.
At 4:50 pm, an alert was issued to the Itaim Paulista sub-prefecture for the risk of overflowing the Lajeado stream on Rua Manoel B. de Lima. The alert was suspended at 5:35 pm.
Starting at 5 in the afternoon, the states of care in the regions began to be suspended, the East Zone being the last.
“The areas of instability that hit the capital of São Paulo causing heavy rains have already moved to the Alto Tietê region, municipalities of Suzano, Arujá, Guararema and Mogi das Cruzes.
