The Military Police (PM / SP) arrested three men suspected of the theft of two vehicles and the private prison of one of the victims, last Tuesday (6), in Mogi das Cruzes. The crimes were committed in the Jd neighborhoods. Santos Dumont and Jd. Santa Teresa.
According to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP), the arrests were made by police officers from the XVII Metropolitan Military Police Battalion (BPM / M) after being notified of the first robbery, which occurred in Jd. Santos Dumont. At that time, the suspects requested a ride by app and approached the driver, who had his vehicle taken from him and held in prison, according to the file.
In possession of the information, the teams intensified their patrols in search of the suspects, until they found them in the second stolen car in Jd. Santa Tereza, making the approach and arrest.
The first vehicle, as well as the driver of the hostage request, were located by the police.
Also according to the SSP-SP, the three men were arrested on the spot and transferred to the Central Police Station of Mogi das Cruzes, where they were recognized by the victims as perpetrators of the crimes.
