The PCPR detains a man who had a partner in a private prison in Antonina.

The Civil Police of Paraná arrested a 27-year-old man suspected of violence against his 28-year-old partner on Sunday 3.

Among the crimes investigated are kidnapping and private imprisonment, sexual violence through torture and threats.

The victim sought help at the PCPR Police Station in Antonina on Saturday afternoon, 2, when her partner went out to change the tire of the car and she, with the excuse that she was going to take her daughter to the bathroom, managed to escape from the jail. She was immediately treated by the civil policemen of Operation Conscious Summer.

The victim reported that she was kept in private prison and was constantly attacked by her partner with knives, skewers and punches. He also said that he suffered sexual violence through torture, which would be filmed by the attacker with his cell phone.

She also said that she was threatened with death, after the fact was registered, protection measures were requested and the team tried to locate the suspect, but was unsuccessful in that first moment. The woman was housed in a Social Assistance Home.

On the morning of this Sunday the 3rd, the aggressor tried to locate the victim and attacked a social worker, who informed the PCPR.

The PCPR team conducted due diligence and located the vehicle driven by the suspect in Morretes.

When trying to get closer, the individual fled. Dangerous driving put other drivers in the region at risk.

Approaching shortly after, the man resisted arrest. Dominated by the civil police, he was transferred to the PCPR Police Station in Morretes. The man was fined in flagrante delicto for kidnapping and private imprisonment, dangerous driving, driving a vehicle without a license, disobedience, resistance, threat and possession.

The suspect will also be charged with sexual violence through torture, personal injury, and threat of domestic violence.

The suspect’s vehicle and cell phone were detained and sent to forensics.
