The new iPhone 12 line is officially ready to be sold in our country, since, on Wednesday (21), the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) finally issued the Certificate of Technical Compliance for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. the latest model to be approved by the regulatory agency, as the primary edition and the mini and Pro variants had already received the green light.

Although the document in question does not exactly cite the commercial name of the device, it does refer to the A2411, which, according to Apple’s own technical specifications page, is the code that belongs to the most powerful models of the new family. The report lists all the frequencies on which the smartphone can operate and this list matches the bands specified on its official page on Apple’s website.

In addition, the certificate notes that although the 12 Pro Max has been tested with a power supply code A2465 (a 20W charger that was approved in August), it will not come with a charger included in its box, something that, sadly, We all knew it from the product announcement. Finally, it is interesting to mention that the document lists the smartphone manufacturing units and mentions that units from China, India and the Brazilian factory itself can be marketed.

The homologation, it is worth remembering, is essential for any device to be sold in Brazil, it is what attests to the compliance of the device with the technical standards established by Anatel. Although the certifications have already been issued, we don’t know exactly when the new devices will be released here.
