The number of Aleksander Santos, Flamengo’s director of institutional relations, was one of those present in the so-called “Guardiões do Crivella”, a group created in a messaging application and used by public servants to monitor and prevent reports on the health crisis in front of municipal hospitals in Rio.

The “Guardiões do Crivella” case was denounced by Rede Globo last Monday. The Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro investigates the participation of Mayor Marcelo Crivella (Republicans) for alleged participation in the illegal scheme.

The Carioca Legislature received two requests for impeachment from Crivella for the practice: one signed by state deputy Renata Souza (PSOL-RJ), a candidate for the City of Rio, and another from councilor Átila A. Nunes (DEM-RJ) ).
