Loester Trutis, known as Uncle Trutis (PSL-MS), was arrested on Thursday morning (12) during the outbreak of Operation Tracker, by the Federal Police. The deputy is investigated in the case in which he denounced an attack on himself on February 16, in which his car was allegedly shot.
Despite the investigation, the reason for the deputy’s arrest was for illegal possession of a firearm.
Following the complaint described by Trutis, an investigation was launched, but so far no one has been arrested. Another point analyzed by the investigation is that given the information about what happened, both the deputy and his advisor could not have gotten out of the situation without injuries.
The Federal Supreme Court (STF) issued 10 search and seizure orders, nine in Mato Grosso do Sul and one in Brasilia. The investigation is kept secret.
The choice of the name of the operation is related to the work carried out by the Federal Police in order to clarify what happened to the deputy and identify the perpetrators.
