Defense of Independiente del Valle in the 5-0 victory over Flamengo, Argentine Richard Schunke revealed, in an interview with the newspaper “Olé”, a special request from the players of the Brazilian team. Schunke, 28, who is in his third season at Del Valle, reiterated that Miguel Ángel Ramírez’s team did not disrespect Flamengo at any time.

However, the defender reinforces the good work of the club, current champion of the South American Cup and finalist of the Libertadores in 2016, in his third participation in the tournament. Schunke says that the great clubs of the continent do not have a project as defined by Independiente del Valle.
