In another live broadcast about the PRF contest, the agency’s executive director, José Hott, commented on the possible postponement of the tests, scheduled for March 28.
“As soon as we receive the information we asked from Cebraspe this morning (3/12), we will make the decision. Or with the definitive confirmation of the schedule, or with a new date for the race ”, he emphasizes. It should be remembered that the scenario could be monitored until March 18, according to the agreement with Cebraspe.
The director reiterated that the PRF is willing to do the test, but the moment the country is experiencing should be the determining factor. “Nobody here is irresponsible, denier or anything. We analyze technical data to make professional decisions ”, he adds.
The PRF contest had tests in all capitals and also in some cities in the interior of the country. However, with various restriction rules across the country, enforcement on 3/28 appears to be highly unlikely.
Since, since the start of the proceedings, the PRF contest has progressed, as a rule, one week after the progress of the PF contest, the Competition Management believes that the race will be postponed until May 30.

José Hott again cited the importance of reestablishing the number of the Federal Highway Police, which had a new police force as of December 17. “We requested a general review of the schedule so that Cebraspe made a management decision as it should be made.
