OR death toll in the accident involving a bus and a truck, this Wednesday morning (25), on the SP 249 Alfredo de Oliveira Carvalho highway, km 171 of the northern lane, in the interior of São Paulo, it climbed to 41. The information was confirmed by the lieutenant of the Military Police, Alexandre Guedes .

The clash occurred between the cities of Taguaí and Taquarituba, in the Piraju region about 350 kilometers from the São Paulo capital. The seriously injured were transferred to municipal hospitals. There are still people connected to the hardware.
The bus reportedly attempted to overtake another vehicle when it hit the truck head-on. The Alfredo de Oliveira Carvalho highway is closed for rescue work. According to Lieutenant Guedes, the bus carried employees of a textile company.
