Cruzeiro lives a “technical ciranda” that seems to have no end. The last of the day was Ney Franco, fired after a goalless draw with the West, this Sunday, for the 15th day of Serie B. Now, the club goes to the seventh coach in a year and two months.

The most enduring passage was that of Enderson Moreira, who remained in office for almost six months, but taking into account that in four of them the competitions were stopped due to the new coronavirus pandemic. In number of games, Adilson was the longest player, with 15 games, between the end of November last year and March this year.

Considering the losses made with the six professionals, Cruzeiro had a loss of close to R $ 9.5 million. The most expensive is Mano Menezes, which charges around R $ 5 million in court. The last one was that of Ney Franco: around R $ 170 thousand.
And it is precisely finances that cause the most concern in the club. With a debt close to R $ 1 billion, Cruzeiro accumulates labor claims, debts with the Union and in processes that are developed in FIFA. One of them even caused the loss of six points in Serie B. Another makes the club ban from registering reinforcements.
In addition, Cruzeiro’s workforce is two months behind in salaries: August and September. This second payroll was also not paid to employees in the basic, female and administrative categories.
