About the positions
Investigator
Requirements: Complete higher education degree, awarded by a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education.
Assignments: Proceed, by determination of the police authority, to investigations and police investigations in order to gather elements for the clarification of criminal or administrative offenses for the instruction of the respective legal procedures; make arrests on the spot or under mandate (driving and escorting prisoners); comply with the orders issued by the Police or competent judicial authority; operate communications equipment, among other positions.
Employee
Requirements: Complete higher education degree, awarded by a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education.
Assignments: Participate in the formation of police investigations and administrative procedures, under the presidency of the competent police authority; issue, upon request granted by the competent police authority, certificates and transfers; perform administrative tasks related to notarial activity; among other positions.
Papiloscopist
Requirements: Complete higher education degree, awarded by a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education.
Assignments: Carry out activities related to the fulfillment of the necessary legal procedures for consultations, processes and other notarial services; collect fingerprints of the living and the dead, for civil and criminal identification purposes; proceed to papiloscopic and necroscopapiloscopic identification with the preparation of the respective technical report; Proceed with the iconographic expertise and the sketch, with the preparation of the respective technical report.
Delegate
Requirements: Diploma in a full course of higher education with a Law Degree, awarded by a Higher Education Institution recognized by the Ministry of Education.
Assignments: Direct, coordinate, supervise and inspect the administrative and operational activities of the police agency or unit under his direction; fulfill and enforce, within the scope of its competence, the institutional functions of the Civil Police; plan, direct and coordinate, based on police statistics and the knowledge produced by police intelligence activity, police operations in the effective approach to crime, within the scope of its competence; exercise discretionary powers related to the position that aim to protect the inherent rights of the human person and safeguard public safety and criminal justice; Practice all acts of the police, within the scope of their competence, with a view to reducing crime and violence.
