Cedae reported that the power of the treatment plant returned to normal around 7:45 pm and that the water supply was resumed from São Gonçalo, Niterói, Itaboraí, part of Maricá and Isla Paquetá. According to the company, the service should only be fully normalized within 24 hours.

Residents reported a lack of electricity in Cabo Frio, Araruama, Búzios, Saquarema and Arraial do Cabo, in the Lagos Region; Teresópolis, Petrópolis, Nova Friburgo, Santa Maria Madalena, Duas Barras and Cordeiro, in the mountainous region, as well as Macaé, Casimiro de Abreu and Rio das Ostras. Some cities in Baixada Fluminense, in addition to Niterói and São Gonçalo, were also left in the dark.
