In total, donors were responsible for transfers of more than R $ 54.5 million. The survey obtained by TV Globo It was concluded this Monday (23) by the Electoral Justice Intelligence Nucleus of the Court.
The information is part of a cross-over of a database of six federal agencies, such as the Federal Revenue Service, the Council for the Control of Financial Activities (Coaf) and the Public Electoral Prosecutor’s Office (MPE).
In the fifth phase of the data analysis, the technicians were able to insert into the system the list of beneficiaries with emergency aid payments, in addition to those who receive Bolsa Família.
According to the technicians, the analysis of the emergency aid had a significant impact on the total of donations and payments suspected of irregularities. Now approximately R $ 589 million are being investigated.
The analysis identified 31,725 campaign providers whose membership includes beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família program or emergency aid. According to the accountability, these companies were hired to provide services to the campaigns and, together, they received a total of R $ 386 million.
In the previous verification step, on November 16, the data only took into account Bolsa Família. This check had already found 1,289 providers with beneficiaries of the social program among the partners and who had received a total of R $ 940 thousand.
The following were also identified:
- 7,985 companies created recently and with a partner affiliated with a political party that received a total of R $ 68.7 million;
- 12,437 donors without formal employment who transferred a total of R $ 44.2 million;
- 2,751 donors with incomes incompatible with donations for a total of R $ 23.7 million;
- 5,603 service providers related to candidates and who received a total of R $ 7.3 million;
- 1,949 suppliers without registration in the commercial board or in the Income Tax that received R $ 3.3 million;
- 24 donors appear in the Death Control System and are responsible for donations of R $ 36 thousand.
This information will be analyzed by electoral judges who can determine future investigations and use the material to judge electoral accounts.
The Public Ministry will also investigate the cases. If the irregularities are confirmed, the mandate of the elected candidates can be challenged in court.
The data is added to a report from the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) at the beginning of the month that found more than ten thousand candidates who declared equity equal to or greater than R $ 300 thousand and received part of the emergency aid until July 2020 (see video below). Almost 2,000 candidates are from the state of São Paulo, a similar number in Minas Gerais.
TCU’s list includes candidates with assets of more than R $ 1 million. Some claimed to have luxury cars, commercial buildings, farms, which indicates a financial situation far removed from reality for most Brazilians who need emergency assistance.
More than 10,000 applicants received emergency aid incorrectly, says TCU
