One week after the start of the resumption of face-to-face care in the agencies of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), the tug of war between the government and medical experts continues to leave the insured unattended on Monday (21).

The association representing the experts refuses to resume activities, claiming that the agencies are not suitable for the return. Last week, the INSS issued a call for doctors to return to work in the 111 agencies deemed appropriate, under penalty of a salary discount, a call that the doctors association said would be ignored.

The ordinance published on Monday (21) by the INSS establishes that the inspections announced by the National Association of Medical Experts (ANMP) need government authorization to be carried out and also establishes restrictions.

Meanwhile, the population remains without assistance and, in many cases, without adequate guidance. HE G1 it repeatedly questioned the INSS on Monday about how many and which agencies are conducting medical examinations, but did not get comment until the latest update of this report.

See below the situation of the agencies in some parts of the country:

The capital’s agencies remain without experts. Only in the Pinheiros agency, in the West Zone of São Paulo, did an expert come to work. At the Vila Mariana unit, in the South Zone, those with scheduled appointments were instructed to make the reservation online.

At the São Bernardo do Campo agency, in Greater São Paulo, an employee reported that no expert returned to work on Monday.

In the capital and Metropolitan Region, medical expertise must be carried out at the branches of Avenida Ataliba Leonel, in the North Zone, in Lapa, West Zone, in Jabaquara, in the South Zone, in addition to the Barueri, São Caetano do Sul units and Taboão da Serra. .

DF agencies complete a week without medical experience. Of the six DF units, only the Southern Commercial Sector (SCS) and the Taguatinga unit carry out medical expert reports.

The Asa Sul post underwent an inspection, on Wednesday (15), in the presence of the president of the INSS, Leonardo Rolim. The promise was that attendance would normalize the day after the visit, but again the unit opened its doors to the public and no experts attended.

Some of the medical experts from the two INSS agencies in Belo Horizonte who can carry out medical examinations did not work on Monday, so not all the insured could be treated by the service.

Users formed a long line in the morning in front of the agency located on Avenida Bento Gonçalves, in the Partenon neighborhood of Porto Alegre, which had its doors closed. They complained that even with a scheduled time and with the signs on the website that it was open, the place remained closed.

According to the executive manager of the INSS in Porto Alegre, Claiton Pereira Soares, the place has not reopened pending the inspection of federal medical experts, which still has no date to be carried out.
