After attacking the driver of a car he tried to steal, an 18-year-old man broke into the cultural center and left the streets of downtown Itabira naked.
An 18-year-old young man was walking naked through the streets of Itabira, in the central region of Minas Gerais, without caring about the appearance of the neighbors due to the unusual situation. Approaching the man, police discovered that hours earlier he had tried to steal a car, hung up and bit a woman in a city parking lot.
The victim, a 51-year-old woman, told police that she was waiting for her husband in a downtown parking lot when the suspect approached her car, said good morning, and drove away. She waited for some of the men who were near the vehicle to move away and approached the victim.
The young man approached the car and told the woman to “get out there”, wanting her to get out of the driver’s seat. The woman threw the car keys at him and tried to run. The suspect was unable to start the car, grabbed the woman and tried to hang her. Also, he bit her on the arm and right hand.
With the arrival of witnesses, the man left the victim and threatened her, saying that he would return to take revenge. He fled and invaded the cultural center of the city, where he took off his clothes and walked naked through the streets of the city center. When he was arrested, he confessed to the crime and, as he was very excited, it was necessary to use a rope to immobilize him. The suspect already has tickets for personal injury and threats.
This Tuesday (8), he had hit his father with a knife. A police report was recorded, the suspect had been arrested, but was released. This Wednesday he was arrested again. The family said he was addicted to drugs. The Civil Police will investigate the case.
The woman was injured in the neck, hand and right arm. She provided medical attention.
