According to the investigation, José Maria da Costa Júnior is the driver of the Hyundai Tucson that ran over Marina, the cyclist who was pedaling on Avenida Paulo VI, in the Sumaré region, in São Paulo. The protesters cycled to Avenida Pacaembu, where the Marine Corps was being watched by the family, stopped at the door and applauded.
