The miracle was alive and out on the field this Saturday night. Alan Ruschel, a survivor of the Chapecoense air tragedy, which is four years old this Sunday, faced Guaraní, on matchday 24 of Serie B, and spoke of the event in the intermission of the match.
In response to reporter Gustavo Biano, Ruschel asked for a moment of reflection and stated that the nostalgia remains after four years (see video above).
– It is always a moment of reflection for me, four years have passed since what happened. Thank God I was able to play again and make my dream come true for the second time. I always made it very clear that my greatest motivation when playing again was to represent those people in the best possible way. And today I think I am achieving it, I am managing to represent it well. So I think it depends on me, on everyone, a moment of reflection, because everyone knows the reason for what happened.
– Now it is clear that life must go on. My life, mainly, needs to continue. So always with eternal longing, which will remain, but always thinking about what God has set me to do.

Before the game, the Chapecoense players entered with a banner in the form of tribute to the victims and respect for the families. Guaraní also paid tribute in the 71st minute of the match, the number of victims of the tragedy.
This Sunday, Chapecoense will pay tribute. Condá Arena will remain with ambient sound throughout the day, with the theme “Vamos, Vamos Chapê”, characteristic of the club’s campaign at the Copa Sudamericana that year. At night, the spotlights will turn on.
