A Carrefour supermarket customer who witnessed the death of João Alberto Silveira Freitas, last Thursday (19), gave testimony to the police and said that the security guards who beat and killed the victim were “disoriented” when they realized that that he was no longer breathing. .

A RBS TV had access to the content of the testimony. In it, the witness stated that he approached the confusion when he arrived at the supermarket and saw that a man was immobilized on the floor.

He said he realized that the victim “had visible signs of suffocation” and that he warned the security guards of the fact, but that they asked him “not to interfere with his work.”

A little later, you would have noticed a change in the color tone of João Alberto’s lips and fingers. At this point, he again alerted security guards, “but it was too late.”

The security guards reportedly became disoriented and stayed close to the victim’s body for a few moments before moving away.

Still, according to the client, it would have taken Samu about an hour to reach the place.

By the time the police arrived at the supermarket, the client reported that she approached the victim’s wife. Milena reportedly told her that her husband was very nervous and always asked to go home while shopping.

According to Milena’s account to the client, at one point, the victim would have played a game with a local security guard, and that attitude would have upset her. For the customer, she did not need it had been a joke.

The witness also said that at no time did he witness that the victim was offended by employees of the commercial establishment because of his skin color or social condition.
