Shortly after the start of the application of the first Enem digital test, which began today at 1:30 p.m. (Brasilia time), social networks have already registered reports of participants who could not take the exam due to technical problems. Most of the complaints cited the system used to administer the test on computers, which did not work properly.

Among the reports on Twitter, people said they waited hours in classrooms for the problem to be resolved. Even so, they were later fired and instructed to reschedule the test.

However, the re-application of the digital test is not foreseen by the Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira), responsible for Enem. There are only dates to re-apply the written test, scheduled for February 23 and 24.

In one of the complaints made on social media, a student said that the re-application forecast was passed on the test site in March.

THE Twitter He asked Inep about the problems and received the answer that all questions related to the digital test will be answered only at a press conference that will be held once the test is over, which ends at 7:00 p.m.

Non-DF problems

Most of the reports on computer problems come from Brasilia and the Federal District. Although the digital test does not require an Internet connection, the application system failed according to the participants.

The Enem digital test takes place this year for the first time. The examination takes place a week after the second day of testing in the press version, which was marked by a record abstention. The second test day of the digital version is scheduled for next Sunday, February 7.

Inep’s expectation was that 93,079 people would make the digital version today in more than a thousand teaching units. Participants take the test in more than 4,000 computer labs at the institutions.

Written writing

While the multiple-choice questions are being answered on the computer, the writing for the Enem digital test continues to be written. Shortly after the start of trials across Brazil, Education Minister Milton Ribeiro stated that the theme was “The challenge of reducing inequalities between regions in Brazil.”

Together with the newsroom, participants today answer questions from humanities and languages. Next week there will be questions about math and science.
