The São Paulo government extended the quarantine in the state until February 7. The measure was published in the Official Gazette on Thursday (31) under the justification of the need to “contain the spread of Covid-19 and guarantee the proper functioning of health services.”

The decree only renews a determination made by the state administration at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic and that has been extended by Governor João Doria (PSDB), even with the economic flexibilities established by the São Paulo Plan.
