Márcia Lanzane, 43, was found dead at her home in Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo, last Thursday (24). On social media, the victim’s sister reported that she was “devastated” by the woman’s death.
The victim’s 23-year-old son found the woman’s body. In addition, the police consider the young man as the main suspect of being involved in the death of Márcia.
In testimony to the police, the young man said that he had argued with his mother and pushed her. In the fall, the victim hit his head and died accidentally, according to the suspect’s version.

To G1, the suspect’s father, Joel Eustáquio Vieira, reported that he helped in the first investigations into the death of the former partner.
“When the investigators came to my ex-wife’s house, they also came to my request, because I thought something was wrong. I asked them to take some internal photos of the house. Everything that happened is really sad, we are not going to have Christmas for that, ”he laments.
“When my son said he thought she was dead, he called his friends from college, he didn’t call anyone in the family, which also seemed strange to me,” he adds.
After Márcia’s death, her sister used social networks to question the death of the victim and regretted that the woman died precisely on the relative’s birthday.
“Don’t ask me to try to understand why you were so young, so healthy, so full of dreams. Although we are not that close, we had the means to get to know each other through messages, phone calls. And now? What horrible pain, just today, on my birthday, my sister. Why? “Wrote the relative.
“Your home is now in a different world. And I only wish that there you find the peace and serenity that you have always sought ”, he published.
“We are broken, corrupted inside. A birthday present, a Christmas present, that nobody imagines receiving ”, he added.
Despite the suspicion, the victim’s son was heard by the police and released after the statement. The Civil Police launched an investigation to investigate Marcia’s death. The body of the victim has already been buried, but the police can still request the exhumation of the body, if deemed necessary.
What does the defense say?
In a note sent to G1, Celso Carlos Perezin Júnior, defense attorney for the victim’s son, reported that the boy is very shocked by what happened and affirms that he is not responsible for the death of his mother.
“The defense did not have access to all the evidence added to the investigation. He is deeply moved by the fatality that occurred and assures that he is not responsible for the death of his mother. In due course all the circumstances surrounding this case will be clarified. Therefore, the accusations raised so far are only speculation ”.
