Known in Acre, the radio host and singer Giovani Accioly, 33, suffered a serious accident on Sunday (01), on Avenida Sanção Gomes, in Tarauacá, in the interior of the state of Acre. Driving his vehicle, he ended up crashing into the back of a car that was parked in front of the hospital in the old town.
The impact of the collision was so significant that the vehicle was trapped under the trailer. After an intense movement of the residents of the place, Giovani, who was trapped between the ironwork, was hastily transferred. In an interview with G1, the singer’s father, journalist Raimundo Accioly, said that the vehicle even showed signs that it would catch fire. However, the neighbors managed to erase the focus and took the boy out.
Fired, the Fire Department arrived at the scene when the driver had already been rescued from the vehicle. The team provided the first assistance and referred Giovani Accioly to Hospital Sanção Gomes.
Serious condition
Giovani suffered a head injury and, in the last bulletin published, presented a condition considered very serious, being intubated in the hospital unit. According to Raimundo Accioly, the family is waiting for an aerial intensive care unit to refer the singer and announcer to the emergency room in the state capital, Rio Branco.
The victim’s father said his son may have drunk alcohol before the accident, but could not specify. The case will be investigated.
“He was gone and was going home when the accident happened. Neighbors managed to cut the seat belt and remove it from the car. His situation is very serious, but he will come out of this, I think he will ”, said the journalist Raimundo Accioly.
On social networks, Giovani’s friends and followers left positive messages, wishing a speedy recovery for the announcer and singer.
