The year 2021 has already started with a long holiday on Friday (1st) and promises a lot of rest. According to the calendar published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, there will be nine official national holidays and another seven optional dates, not counting state and municipal holidays. Despite this, Shrove Tuesday, which will fall on February 16, will be optional.

Between holidays, three of them are considered extended, that is, they are modified with the weekend. In addition to the day of Universal Fellowship, which occurred last Friday (1), the Passion of Christ, on April 2, and the Proclamation of the Republic, on November 15, fall, respectively, on Friday and on a Monday.

From the list, only two dates will fall on a Saturday, which is World Labor Day, on May 1, and Christmas, on December 25.
