Seven people were murdered in the early hours of Thursday (26) in Ouro Preto, in the Pedra e Cal district, in Ibaretama, 130 km from Fortaleza. According to initial information, a woman and a child are among the victims.
Hooded and armed men entered the back of the house and began shooting, according to the Quixada police station.
The Security Secretariat said teams at the scene are collecting data from the victims.

Quiterianópolis Massacre
Just over a month ago, another massacre was recorded in the state. On October 18, five men were shot dead in a residence on Rua Manuel Vieira de Carvalho, in the municipality of Quiterianópolis, 410 kilometers from Fortaleza. A sixth man was injured and was rescued to Santa Casa de Sobral.
The victims drank alcoholic beverages when four armed men entered the scene, asked the victims to lie down, and fired multiple shots.
After the crime, police surveys found that two victims had passed through the police. One of them wore electronic anklets.
Maranguape
In May of this year, four people died after being shot in Maranguape, in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza. The crime took place in a residence on Rua Vera Cláudia, in the Zona Seca neighborhood, Novo Maranguape.
At that time, the Secretary of Security said that people entered the residence and fired firearms at the residents. Sebastião Rodrigo Cavalcante Barbosa, 19, the two brothers identified as Nardiey Moreira Marques da Silva, 21 and Nardilan Moreira Marques da Silva, 20, and a fourth person were beaten and died on the spot.
