Retirees and pensioners of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) will have new rules for the payment of the 13th salary. According to a decree published by the federal government in the Official Gazette of the Federation, as of 2021, the benefit will be anticipated in two plots.
The first round will be deposited in the August sheet, while the second in the benefit for the month of November. Quotas were also advanced in 2020, only because of the economic impact caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The transfers took place between April and June.

As for the second installment, payments will be made in November. The amount paid will be the total amount of the annual allowance minus the first installment.
Advance payment dates are expected to be released in late 2020. However, transfers are typically made in the last five business days of the month and continue through the first five of the next.
Remembering that the deposit order (who receives first or last) is decided according to the amount and the final number of the benefit.
Policyholders await the fourteenth emergency salary
The anticipation of 13 of the INSS policyholders already happened in 2020. The government paid the first installment between April 24 and May 8, and the second between May 25 and June 5. Now, also due to the pandemic, the Senate is analyzing a bill that proposes to create a 14th emergency salary.

“The pandemic is doing enormous damage to the economy and the lives of the underprivileged … Salary number 14, in addition to helping retirees and those at risk, will also serve as an injection of resources into the economy,” Paim said.
