Miguel, Arthur, Heitor, Helena and Alice top the list of the names most registered by the Civil Registry Offices of Brazil in 2020, according to the Transparency Portal of the Civil Registry, of the National Association of Registrars of Natural Personnel (Arpen-BR ). .
Unlike recent years, such as 2018 and 2019, when Enzo Gabriel was twice champion, this year the list shows the return of simple names in the top 10 of mixed names, that is, female and male.
Another curiosity is that the most registered name in 2020, Miguel, was also the favorite of the parents during the last decade in Brazil. In addition, Arthur and Davi appeared, respectively, in 2nd and 3rd place between the years 2010 and 2020.
According to Arpen-BR, the survey collected data from the 7,660 Civil Registry Offices in the 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District, which formed a base of more than 24 million registrations made since 2010. See the classification below.
