With 100% of the votes counted in Salvador, the names that should occupy the 43 seats of the City Council in the next four years are defined. According to the list released by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Councilor Luiz Carlos (Republicans) was the champion of the voting and is re-elected.
Another five councilors of the current legislature, including the president of the Chamber, Geraldo Júnior, are among the first classified. He was the second most voted, followed by Isnard Araújo, Ireuda Silva, Duda Sanches and Alexandre Aleluia.
The house will have 17 new names, which could be considered, in practice, 19, since one of the winning candidates in the elections involves two other people. The elected Laina Crisóstomo (Psol) will play her term with Cleide Coutinho and Gleide Davis, for the Black for Salvador collective.
