However, the pandemic has also led to the creation of services through the Internet and adaptations to meet the demand of the insured.
One of these services was proof of digital life that did not exist before and should continue after quarantine. See all changes:
1 – Online medical experience: the government will start the online medical experience pilot project on Tuesday 3. Therefore, if you need assistance due to illness, you will not have to go to an INSS agency to be seen by an expert doctor;
2 – Application for sickness benefits via the Internet: Insured persons can request advance payment of the sickness benefit, in the amount of R $ 1,045, by INSS Meu until the end of this month, presenting a medical certificate;
3 – Main payroll loans: the limit was increased from 35% to 40%, the maximum payment term increased by one year, and the maximum monthly interest rates decreased;
4 – Proof of life online: The procedure is in the testing phase, it is carried out using the Governo Digital and Meu INSS applications. The insured must send a photo for facial recognition using biometrics;
5 – Suspension of cancellation of benefits: Since March, the INSS has not canceled or cut retirements and pensions that have not undergone annual re-registration, proof of life;
6 – Advance of BPC: the elderly or disabled person who receives Continuous Term Benefit can request an advance of R $ 600 until October 31. The INSS considers enrollment in CadÚnico to make the payment;
7 – Express delivery of documents: To meet the requirement, an insured who is in the retirement queue can deliver an envelope containing simple copies of the requested documentation in boxes that are located at the entrance of branches. The service is from Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
